We are looking for a skilled and self-driven cook who takes pride in delivering quality Caribbean dishes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s menu
- Ensure all food meets quality and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Complete prep work ahead of time for the following day
Core Menu Items:
Applicants should have experience preparing all or most of the following:
- Sada roti, Fry bake, Coconut bake
- Saltfish, Sausage, Plantain
- Baigan (eggplant), Smoked herring, Bhagi
- Chinese-style dishes, Creole dishes
- Soups, Curry crab and dumplings
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional attitude and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Experience in high-volume or fine dining is a plus
